What the law imposes
The Belgian framework around player protection is considerably more strictly than a few years ago and you notice it at signup. Every licensed site applies a default deposit limit of €200 per week. Lowering it is immediate, raising runs through a verification and then a waiting window.
EPIS is the Gaming Commission's central exclusion system: the exclusion applies instantly across the whole licensed landscape. Reversing it is not immediate. Under-21s have been shut out of casino, hall and betting since September 2024; only the National Lottery stays at 18. Without valid ID you do not get through.
