Signup, KYC and support
Signing up looks roughly the same on every site: your real details plus a KYC check before any money leaves. An ID and something that evidences your address usually suffice. A deposit in someone else's name reliably blocks your payout.
There is no Dutch or French guarantee, and no Belgian escalation path. Keep the confirmation e-mails of your deposits; in a dispute over a payout those are the only documents that count.

Player protection in numbers
The rules on player protection here run notably strictly by European standards which feeds straight into your play limit. By default €200 per week per site may go in.
The Gaming Commission keeps one central exclusion register in EPIS: the block covers every licence holder in the country. Unlicensed sites are not connected to it. The bar has stood at 21 since 1 September 2024, lottery aside; only the National Lottery stays at 18. It applies online and on-site.

By filing an EPIS request with the regulator; it applies at once across the licensed landscape. Registration runs through the Gaming Commission. The register is not publicly searchable.
The minimum age is 21; since 1 September 2024 it is 21 for casino, hall and betting. The 2024 reform aligned every form of play. The rule applies online and on-site alike.
€200 per week per site applies automatically; you need not request it. The ceiling counts per week, not per month. Set it deliberately lower if you are unsure.
Not legal in the Belgian sense: Ef Bet operates without a Gaming Commission licence. The regulator keeps both lists current. Always verify it yourself before depositing.
Not for the player. Belgium taxes the operator, not the winner. At a foreign operator your tax position may differ. This has been the Belgian rule for years.
